“Mike, I don’t understand what the problem is. We are just trying to look under the hood,” Well, they are out of line. Why on Earth would someone not take the statements of a Bush appointee at face value? I mean, they are always extremely competent straight talkers with nothing on their mind but the good of the country... Ok, every once in a while someone like Gates slips in accidentally. But he is the exception and not the rule.
