I don't think China "is back". Actually, from the article I just read in the NYT's they may really be getting hit harder in this economic downturn than what everyone expected, which ain't good news for all of us that were hoping they were going to be the "engine" that would pull us out of this mess.

I was basing my comment on the BDI. After going down consistently for six months, it started to tick up this week. In addition, there are reports that China is nearing the bottom of its inventory build put in place before the Olympics. Was not suggesting things are bullish but rather another step in the bottom.
