According to the CIA World Factbook, the GNP of Pakistan, a "medieval" Muslim country run by Worthy Oriental Gentlemen, which has no oil, is almost $300 billion, while the GNP of New Zealand, run by white English speaking coves like MQ, not Muslims, is about $80 billion.
The GNP of Egypt, another "medieval" Muslim country run by Worthy Oriental Gentlemen, with no oil, is also about $300 billion, while the GNP of Ireland, run by white English speaking coves but Catholic, is about $114 billion.
They don't have the GNP of the countries in the UK broken down, but all four - England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland - lumped together is around $1.5 trillion so they aren't doing all that much better, per country, than Egypt or Pakistan, either.
