Usually makes sense to dump banks after earnings for a couple of weeks. After the big run up the past couple of weeks, it makes even more sense to take profits off the table. I think expectations will be coming down for BAC and C being able to make any sort of dividend hike this year. Doesn't mean they won't be able to announce some buybacks, but I doubt that BAC or C will be allowed to raise dividends until they show a couple quarters of earnings consistency. While that might be the case without all the charges from these 2 banks, C still has very elevated loan losses and BAC still gets stuck with billion dollar settlements.

Better to let them sink back and keep playing the ranges.
