That post would seem to reflect the place fear plays in the psyche of a bigot. The experience of fear is terrible, and it seems to me that it may not be so surprising if many confused bigots have attempted to exert control over their fear and the feared object by converting that fear to a freefloating sort of hatred. Note that the 460 Iraqis whose death this post celebrates include many non-combatants, including children.

The phenomenon of "dehumanization" of the feared or hated object is well known .
