I agree with that Ed, with one proviso. I picked up samples of each and every newsletter available at the Cambridge House seminars in Montreal last week. One of them actually contained information that I found useful. It had analysis of all SVB companies and gave pertinent objective and factual info about each company. Sort of everything you needed to know but didn't have time to ask. It is a document that demystifies the JV aspects of the play and maps out with what is turning out to be the correct critical path, the sequence of drilling and related activities. All of the info in this particular newsletter can be found in the public domain. But it is contained here for easy reference. There are many ways to write up information on this type of thing (mining companies). A good writer is one who is aware of what manner of combined information is the most effective for investment decisions. None of the other newsletters did the job except for this one. So, a newsletter can be helpful, but this is a rare occurrence. I would say they can be be useful if they are produced in the proper fashion. It doesn't happen very often though..
