They can't just move charges around to where ever they want, they have to follow GAAP.

In Q3 quarter they were able to claim some of the expenses for advertising in Q4 (this quarter) because the expense was incurred in Q3. (Hypothetical example: they leased the big plane and filmed the ad in Q3, but the ads was not shown untill Q4. The cost of making the commercial were charged to Q3, but the cost of air time must be charged to Q4)

i would think that in this case most of the expense would be in Q1 98.

Atleast my Dad, the Bean Counter, said that this is the way it is done.
