Reasons to be Bearish tal.marketgauge.com tal.marketgauge.com The chart and description above are a poistion traders tool in that in tracks 5% market moves. When a market moves more than 5% in the opposite direction it gives a signal. If you read the description on the indicator above you will have notice that it gives false signals in sideways markets. This is the case with most indicators, except RSI , which is king in sideways consolidations. Trading against a fresh signal has historically been ill advised and you can see from the chart it has done very well overall. We are on a fresh signal now and should be focused on the downside until at least a new signal from this indicator. If you traded this indicator alone you would basically have a 5% trailing stop in place that followed the market and reversed after being stopped out. Simple plan simple stratagy.
