You have totally missed it - Rhapsody is the new paradigm. Think of a Mac user interface with the best programming environment, able to run on either Intel or (faster) PowerPC hardware, able to run Java or any OS.

They are targetting NT not Windows95/98. The Mac side will continue, and it is on this front that getting rid of cloners will help the bottom line. When Yellow Box is available, Dell/Compaq/Gateway will be the "cloners", so who needs Power Computing?
