The Holy Grail

In my on going search for the Holy Grail of Trading I have come to the conclusion that there is NONE.

The market is too dynamic to allow for a holy grail, it would soon be learned and distroyed.

But there is one that is close and that is the link above. It is the secret of trading thats not really a secret at all. It is so simply obvious that it hurts.

Everyone knows it very few practice it and it is the difference between making it as a trader and going under.

If a trader just studyed the link above, understands what it is and what it says, you would likely be profitable on a continuing bases.

I often write about a LOW RISK ENTRY. Many of my analysis contain the words low risk entry and what this means is that there is a clear exit point very close at hand. A reason to exit that is close.

I have made my evaluation and there is a price on the chart that would cause me to exit this trade and it is very close at hand.

Jack Chan one of my favorite traders lives by the 3% rule passing up many what looks to be good trades to me only because the risk is over his allowable 3%.

Few things in the market that you have control over. But one is how much you lose on a trade. You have total control over that one aspect. Use it wisely.

As you can see on the link above you only have to be right 25% of time to outperform and 75% guy that isnt managing his losses.

Sometimes you cant see the woods because of all the trees.
