Every one of Maureen Dowd's buttons have been pushed. She is on a liberal rant. Thanks for posting the Maureen Dowd article. I rarely read her comments, found this one of interest. Just a few observations on Dowd's article and writing. Dowd has the opportunity to be above her petty politics, to embrace the fact that we do have an eminently qualified woman running for Vice President of the USA---Sarah Palin. Instead, Dowd's remarks have revealed once again her bias in application of the double standard to women of the slightest conservative bent in politics such as Sarah Palin. According to Dowd, it's not okay to be conservative, to be a political leader, to be a mother, to use your brain. I have news for Maureen Dowd her pardigmn is the "old paradigmn"------while she has been observing and writing the world has changed. It's okay for a woman to be conservative, to be a political leader, to be a mother, to use your brain. This is the Change that has come with time-----this is the new pardigmn. mj
