Trendmaster: Ashok Kumar has been touting Ethernet to kill Fibre Channel for 2 to 3 years now. It hasn't happened yet. He may ultimately be correct, but I take what he says with a grain of salt. I will believe it when I see it. Especially with Qlogic coming out with a mass market end-to-end setup at reduced price. This product sounds like it will exactly target the mass market that Kumar says FC companies are ignoring. IMHO, Kumar has hated Brocade forever, primarily because Brocade has done everything possible to hinder interoperability with other vendors. Plus, I suspect that he detests Reyes. wj
