Hey guys and gals,

I submitted Ames Department stores several weeks ago when it was about 5. It just hit 8 3/16 after reporting 16% sales increases (10% same store). It even made the Motley fool as a turnaround, as this company was in BK in 1993.

For the short term I am not suggesting buying this on Monday as it has gone from 1 to 8 in the last year and may take a breath on Monday after the recent run up. What I would suggest is watching for a dip on this one, as it will eventually retrace. This stock is severly undervalued and even if you were to catch it a little high, you should make it up relatively quickly.

This is not a small time company...USA's fifth biggest retailer, with over 2 Billion in sales. No hype....just facts.
