It just came down from an almost 20% premium. This isn't a typical closed end fund in the sense that they hold strictly bullion (which otherwise would cost the shareholder money to store and insure IF he held it directly himself). Nonetheless, it is still subject to market inefficiencies, and has gotten as low as 5% or so below NAV (though that was in the depths of the 20 year precious metal bear market, the likes of which are not likely to be seen again for a LOOOONG time). I view it as an extension of my bullion holdings, as such I'm willing to pay a small premium to spot (just like I would if I bought and stored, say, Kruggerrands and ESPECIALLY if I bought and stored Comex deliverable silver ingots).
