Robert,
Tomorrow the merger goes to Victoria for rubber stamping by the provincial government. It then goes to the TSE which arranges transfer of certificates etc, and this will be done next Wednesday or Thursday and may require the stock to be halted for a short time.
It is expected that things have been fast tracked (I wonder if this is due to Mr. Shirriff's presence on the board?) and we should see Twin Gold trading on Friday next. TSE:TWG!
I have heard that there will be some major announcements soon.
I know that the Lim family from Indonesia bought a large part of the last PP. This family owns the Kelian mine property and are apparently close to Suharto so this bodes well for TWG.
There is talk of further property aquisition in the area.
Scotia McLeod is showing much interest and I would not be too surprised to see a major financing through their house.
Final note on the last appointments to the board:
Robert Shirriff (sic) is a BIG-TIME lawyer in Toronto and specializes in mergers and aquisitions. Dengler has a long mining background and specializess in underground mining. It is indicative of solid companies, particularly mining companies, that when high powered appointments are made you can expect major stock movement.
If anyone is on the verge of buying I don't think they are going to get a better opportunity than right now. Hell, it was trading at .59 earlier today.
Best of luck to all,
Dan Byrne
