Obama is already talking about the Social Security tax increase. How the 2% one year tax holiday on Social Security came about was that it was a compromise to extend the Bush era tax cuts, but it is underfunding SS. The question is how Republicans deal with this going into a presidential election year now that Obama wants to extend it.
