a very quick update. Hudson has cheated death again. His kidneys have miraculously started functioning again. His lungs are clearing. He had to have a 'trake' put in because he had been on the ventilator for so long that it was permanently damaging his windpipe. He still has infection and he still has no hip but praise God he is alive without any brain damage. The family is drained and his wife is a zombie but they are thankful and I am also. His son is flying into Greensboro tonight from Houston to be with his father this weekend so pray for safe passage. The doctors are already talking of transferal to a step down unit and then to a nursing home for rehab but that is light years out in the future to my limited understanding...thank everyone for all their prayers....In Christ amen..
