Hi Stock Fairy, Re: VC funding, while it still exists is waaaay lower than it used to be (and it is flowing into optical components still) This sort of mystifies me. It sure seems that it's the same game as the nuevo carriers went through. I did a study on the optical components guys about a year ago and the economics of the industry are totally grim. Message 14787142 Equity prices have rationalized since I penned that analysis, but they still don't reflect basic economic reality. Fiber optic components still are treated, unwisely by investors, as a holy grail. But, of such dreams are markets made. <g> -R.
