The SmearVets campaign is 100% lies.
ALmost everything they say is entirely untrue. In fact it's the opposite of true. Kerry was a brave, aggressive and selfless leader. You don't pull guys out of the water in enemy fire if you're selfish or want a ticket home.

Unlike AWOLBUSH.com the smearer of McCain, Cleland and Kerry, Honest John Kerry earned all his medals the hard way, by fighting hard in an extremely dangerous environment Bush wouldn't go near in a million years.

Though two of his wounds were minor, he earned his Purple Hearts too. Bullets and shrapnel don't distinguish and neither does the Navy when it gives out PH's. Some of the same rightwing smear artists were also behind dissing Max Cleland for getting three limbs blown off so this isn't about Kerry's wounds anyway, it's about Bush going AWOL and trying to cover that up.
