The people of Libya now have the opportunity to chart a better course for their future in part because of U.S. assistance, but also, to some extent, in spite of the president’s approach.

If, as other posts here have suggested, the Muslim Brotherhood's role in Libya is increased, and a constitution developed that is based on sharia law, that "better course for their future" seems very doubtful to me.
