buying one large UPS

or optionally break down into subgroups by PC and Mac since the management software is different. Of the big three ups ( APC, Opti-ups, Best) only apc and Best have Mac sw. It would be good to use the same sw thru-out for consistency sake. Maybe make use of the standalone ups you already have and gang up just the unprotected machines. Seems some grouping solution inbetween all standalone or one really big un would be optimal.. these really big ups would also require a different type 'wall' plug.

How about a call to a power protection only company for some advice/possible sales? These guys seem to work with protecting multi platform enviroments on a daily basis.
