2 million Windows 2000 desktops and servers microsoft.com "Companies such as General Motors, Wells Fargo Bank and Merrill Lynch have committed to installing the new operating system on nearly 2 million PCs and servers.And more than 250 corporations worldwide have already deployed the operating system in a variety of mission-critical environments." Terminal Server is built into every Win2000. The servers with Win2000 installed will need management software (NCD), and thin client deployments should increase significantly this year.
