That's disturbing.......GM can't afford cars that lose buckets of money.

For most high investment value products, the start up costs often take several years of production to recoup...volume is the key. It's a tricky balance of ASP setting...can't be too high to discourage demand generation, can't be too low to lose too much money on each unit.
