MIAMI--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Aug. 30, 1999--Blossom Technologies Corporation, a leading worldwide manufacturer of desktop video products, introduces the DaViD SUITE(tm), a real time low cost DVD Authoring Solution. The DaViD SUITE is designed for existing owners of Avid (AVID), Blossom(R), Discreet(R), DPS(R), Matrox(R), Media 100(R) (MDEA), Pinnacle(R) (PCLE), and Truevision(R) editing systems, as well as Microsoft(R) (MSFT) Windows(R) multimedia workstations.
The real time DaViD SUITE has a manufacturer's suggested list price of $6995 and is available immediately from selected Blossom dealers.

The real time DaViD SUITE can be installed on any Windows Workstation in minutes. The DaViD SUITE includes a high quality PCI based MPEG2 encoder and a full complement of authoring tools. The Blossom's EZ- DVD -PRO(tm) is the ultimate solution for DVD -Video title development, and supports all aspects of the DVD -Video standards. The DaViD SUITE includes infrastructure and interactive navigational programming, data capture and decision making, multiple audio and sub picture channels, 98 VOB tracks, 99 chapters per track, and much more.
The DaViD SUITE has been tested with all major non-linear editing systems as well as a myriad of Windows Based Multimedia/Graphic Workstations. The DaViD SUITE requires one PCI slot and a processor of at least 200 MHz.
The DaViD SUITE is also available as a fully configured DVD Authoring System. The DaViD SUITE system is based around Intel's Pentium III Technology. Prices for fully configured turnkey systems start at $9995.
