Hi John,

My point about MSFT is that they won't be the "x-bagger" they've been in the past. They're more of a "stodgy" play while some of the newer companies are "sexier." It's to the point where I believe MSFT should be offering a nice dividend. If you want a 2-bagger or more over the near-term you'll probably have to look elsewhere.

As to when MSFT might double in price from its current levels, that's difficult to tell. I think the downside risk is greater than the upside potential, but of course I've been saying that for oh... about 4 years now. After I left (largely because of my perceived weakness in the stock's fundamentals), it doubled twice or something like that so obviously I'm not good at "market timing." <g>
