Rob, can't say I have an opinion on whether/when Oracle might split again. I think it's a fine company and its earnings and stock price are clearly in an uptrend, but even within an uptrend, I notice most companies stock prices oscillate between 1 or 2 standard deviations of the moving average. I track both a 25 and 50 day moving average using TC2000, and have it overlay 1, 1.5, and 2 standard deviation lines on either side of the moving average. In Oracle's case, its current price has penetrated all the way through the 2 standard deviation line above both moving averages. In the past, when that has happened, it's been usually a resistance level and the price has dropped back to as far below the channel (2 std dev in this case). Right now, that would indicate retracement to approximately 38-41 is possible (and likely IMO) sometime in the next several weeks. At least the charts are pretty to look at - I have the lines in a multitude of colors. <g>
