My deepest and heartfelt thanks go to:

- The ACLU-Washington organization for their help in both establishing (with the Electronic Frontier Foundation) appropriate standards (the four factor test) via their participation in the 2themart case and for their help with respect to the subpoena of 41 SI aliases.

- Infospace/Silicon Investor for insisting that the subpoena served upon it be based on a court order following consideration of the four part test. While I believe that this was not only appropriate from a legal perspective, but also from a business perspective, I still recognize that a less enlightened organization might have taken different actions in the matter.

- All those SI and RB posters who contributed their time and/or money in the effort that led to the withdrawals of these inappropriate subpoenas.
