You know I personally feel that Americans tend to have an overblown sense of events. 9/11 for example did not kill all tha many people. It was a wake up call on our exposure to terrorism, but to have a collective crisis over it givers the terrorists exactly the kind of event they wanted. I understand most people are emotional, but should our government pander to that? Emotionalism rarely yields the intelligent long range answer.

I hope I am unchanged by 9/11. It's my little statement of defiance, against the terrorists without our country, and the people within our country who, imo, are giving the terrorists exactly what they want.
