David, J.M,

I am relatively new to PTEK, but certainly like the way the stock has been acting recently.

Some major institutions must see some real value in PTEK to drive the stock price up on a crazy day like today. And I am really encouraged by the volume.
This is an Atlanta based company (and I live in Atlanta) and the local business paper has had solid (positive) comments to make about PTEK.

Here is a part of an article that appeared in the Atlanta Constitution Business Section on Dec. 31, 1998:

The stock tumbled to as low as $2.50 in October. Now, institutional investors appear to be taking another look at the company, said Robert C. Zwerneman, vice president of investor relations. "I know some of it is (institutional buying), " Zwerneman said. "It's the logical step when the pressure of tax-related selling disappears".

Zwerneman said he knows some of the buyers, but declined to identify them. "We've been contacted by them," he said, describing the investors as "value hunters looking for undervalued companies whose underlying business is sound"

Pretty Impressive I'd say! Any thoughts anybody?
