:-) Every (non-random or non-standard) picture we take and share is an extended self-portrait, to some degree. Some folks think shots of Disneyland are the ultimate extension of their spirit and life adventures. Some want to document reality for purposes of truth-- for history, journalism, and/or to pay the rent. Others search the boundaries of expression, sometimes with personal or emotional risk. And great love. IMO, photography like all great art, is an extension of who we are inside, shared brain-to-brain in two dimensions.
