Bill,

You want to read something funny? Check out this article from MSNBC telling readers how to connect two or more PCs at home or in the office: msnbc.com.

It's a fairly long article which covers the subject wrt the Mac this way: ". . .If you have a Macintosh, it's easy. The printer port on all Macs can also be used to create a slow but easy-to-configure network using software that comes with the operating system.. . ." That's it. The author devotes the remaining several thousand words to the PC.

A good engineer can design a complex machine to do complex tasks. A great engineer makes that complex machine easy to use for people who are not specialists. Like I've said many times before, the Mac is a superior piece of engineering right out of the box.
