Yet I see editorials in Chicago urging the Bears to hire Rex. Rex is the perfect guy to liven up a team. I'm not sure if he truly has the ability to produce a winner, but he sure does inspire you to think so. The conventional wisdom around here is that the Jets organization is a mess, and Rex never got the personnel he needed for his style of aggressive defense. Rex loves to blitz and put pressure on the QB, which means he needs to have a secondary capable of handling man-man assignments. That all went south when Revis was traded. I have no clue which team is a better fit for Rex personnel-wise, SF or Chicago, but, city-wise, Chicago for sure.
