I rely on other research and note that the latest reports I have show an overall flattening in 1999 (year over year). But they also show an increase in avg number of components in yk2 of about 2% with the number in the 3.5 inch drive segment decreasing slightly and all other segments (2.5", 1.8", and 5.25") increasing. Taking it further the avg. climbs again in 2001 another 4%. I am assuming this reflects the expected higher sales growth in the client/server corporate storage market where, by then, 50 GB drives will be commonplace.
