See my post # 319 concerning the article in Data Storage Magazine. FWIW, I contacted an engineer who works for WDC and he was aware of the "keepered" media concept, mostly because he read the same article I did. IMO, the CEO of WDC should be well aware of other technological approaches to increasing capacity, including AXC's. That doesn't mean he knows, however, and if he did, he's not obligated to address them publicly. You can be assured he's going to want to find out, though, (if he doesn't know already) after his appearance on CNBC.
