If you were a resident of Gaza and Egyptian army crossed the border into Gaza, wouldnt you be happy to see them? Egypt could say they were coming in to protect Gazans and warn the israelis to stop shooting. Israel would comply. And then the egyptians could move thru gaza and take out rocket launchers. Israel could move in from the other side if needed or just wait until egypt secured the place. Do you think Gazans would take up arms against Egypt? Do you think Hamas would fight the egyptians or would they realize that might be stupid.
