to anyone and everyone.

bsx and cpq ended the day with a "buy imbalance" of 80k shares each according to yahoo.
what does that mean.
bsx rallied at the end to close up, despite being weak.
is there any new news?
cpq on the other hand faded at the end and closed very near the low.

does a "buy imbalance" mean that people were looking to buy at the close and were not able to get their orders executed before the market shut down? does that mean that both will pop up at the open (all things remaining quiet otherwise)?

thanks for any help.
i own lots of both.
