If I can get into settings ( press F1) at boot time then I can reset to HD boot. Try this F1 reset several times and no response.

So what is the step I should do to make use of the MBR.

Asus suggested to have BIOS chip of a working PC, plug into this non working PC. After successing boot, unplug the good chip and replace with the nonworking chip, shut down PC then the good settings will be written out... ( problem is to locate
a working BIOS chip !!!!)
