Did the NYT ask him specifically WHAT should have been done? And did they ask how many other footloose citizens are running around Iraq all alone, and in a war zone? What specifically should our military do for people who are over there, in a war zone, without invitation, and without his own protection?

Of course, his family are angry and upset to put it mildly. I can NOT even imagine the whole situation. I don't know how I could even talk to anyone but family, let alone media.

BUT now that this has happened, perhaps all of us should start asking the question of our media.....

How many others are wandering around Iraq without their own protection? And why?
