I thought so too Harry. I've had that article bookmarked for several months but I just never posted it. The site that is from is called The Moderate Independent. They have a lot of pretty good articles, here is a recent from their front page. I don't think you can call this a left wing site because of the way they characterize Molly Ivins (which I disagree with). I do agree with the general theme of the statement though.

Bin Laden was talking to operatives to mount a terrorist attack in the US. Suspicious activity was consistent with preparations for hijackings. And here we have President Bush's response to the memo: "". Yes, he stayed on his vacation in Texas, got real worked up about... stem cell research. As we have said before, we do agree that 9/11 defines President Bush and his time in office. He failed the nation in the months before 9/11. Let left-wing pansies like Molly Ivins say asinine, pansy things like she said Friday on Air America Radio, "I don't like to play the blame game." That is why the current liberal leadership sucks - their weakness and wimpiness allows the George W. Bushes of the country to get power and escape responsibility for all their horrible actions and failures.
George W. Bush failed, lied about what he knew, and is responsible for not giving us a fighting chance to prevent 9/11 - and he should be held accountable for this. Molly Ivins would let him off without punishment or even a reprimand. She is just as evil and deadly for America. The only thing required for evil to triumph is for good men to... let spineless liberal wimps like Molly Ivins be their leaders. Bush must go, the Molly Ivinses of the the left must go. We must all become Moderate Independents who care about the truth, unlike Bush Republicans, and hold liars and failures accountable, unlike the Ivins-left. |
