Dear Bill: I am glad you pointed that out. I was one of those beat up in the early 70's. At the time I thought the world was coming to an end (it was my first beating) but, I survived and did well thereafter. I think its human nature for the pundits to either over exaggerate the good (when times were good) and the same when times are bad. Truth is IMHO, unless America is surrendering its World Leadership (which I seriously doubt-in fact appears to be getting even stronger) the economy and the market will eventually reverse. Staying power is the key to success. JDN
