Young,

No question computer prgrams cause most of the volatility. There are quite a few easy to use formulas to get a feeling where is a stock or market headed. As a matter of fact several of those calculations (oscilators, histograms, etc.) that I use, were screaming a drasticly oversold market both on Monday and Tuesday. These kind of levels are not sustainable and prices shoot up from such levels.

That was one of the reasons for me to come out on Monday and make the bold statement/call that there won't be any more NASDAQ closes of 25 points on the downside anytime soon. Archie knows that.

I have to look hard to find major disappointments in the tech and semi sector in particular.

I was asked earlier what did I buy during yesterday's sale. I picked up two semi companies - initiated a position in CUBE and added 5000 shares to my large chunk of XICO shares, and I reinitiated a position in an old favorite of mine - semi related process control equipment maker CYBE. Very nice picks, I concede.

I am extremely bullish on XICO, very bullish on CUBE and I feel good about buying some CYBE (but on a condition that it does not dip below 10). CYBE is a great value priced/fast growth play in my judgement.

Winner, long on IOMG
