Maxwell - Re: "The guy with the smaller die wins. You obviously have
no idea how this industry works."

AMD had the smaller die -K6 vs Pentium II Klamath - in ALL OF 1997 !

Just how much did AMD win?

Answer - NOTHING - AMD LOST MONEY - for the THREE QUARTERS OF 1997 that they produced the K6.

AMD had the smaller die -K6/K6-2 vs Pentium II Deschutes - in the first three quarters of 1998?

Just how much did AMD win?

AMD LOST BIG MONEY in the FIRST TWO quarters and squeaked out with only a Million Dollars Profit in the third quarter - DUE TO INTEREST INCOME ON THE CASH RECEIVED FROM BORROWED MONEY via a DEBT OFFERING !

You, MAXWELL, obviously have no idea how this industry works.
