Has anyone here taken a stab at valuing BAC or AIG? Both of these cos have high PTPP earnings and DTAs. At these prices they look very interesting. BAC has over $30 PTPP earnings and DTAs of $27B, meaning they won't have to pay taxes for 3-4 years. Credit quality is improving consistently every quarter. Mortgage putbacks is a question mark but they likely wont be settled for 5-7 years.

Berkowitz has gone all in on financials and now has a less than 5% cash position. Is he nuts or just early?
