Sam-- I have a thing about our capacity to create categories. Does the Big Dipper exist or do we impose it on random stars? What constitutes the category of a breakout?

Hell, we can't agree on the difference between life and death (when does life begin, when is someone dead), plant and animal (when I went to school bacteria were plants, now they're animals), and certainly something as arbitrary as a breakout being at 53 15/16 seems a bit arbitrary. If you are convinced that 53 29/64 is not a breakout, good luck to you and the techies. It does seem to be a masturbatory exercise to me. I'm sorry if I'm imposing hermeneutic reasoning to the thread.
