A: Because this company's market cap is based upon growth in earnings, not earnings per share. High growth companies (20%/yr & up) enjoy high PE multiples. When quarterly earnings indicate a possible slowdown in long term growth, the market will punish the stock severely. Bottom line: high risk-high reward.
