Man! Talk about tootin' yer own horn. I think I heard an entire brass section. (mighta just been gas, I dunno)<GGG>

I think we should start a write-in campaign. Westergaard for Prez.

Seriously though, His entire post was interesting and I agree with alot of what he says. My main problem is that he is getting all bent out of shape about this Pluvia guy doing exactly what "real" analysts have been doing from the git-go. Pisses me off to see such a blatant double-standard.

Sounds like his ego is getting in the way here. I've been hearing more and more "squawking" from these so-called "Big-Boys" now that guys like us can access info and make good investment/trading descisions using the Internet. (AND outperforming them!!!<GGG>)

I'd be curious to see how much this new phenomenom has cut into his bottom line.

One of the statements he made caught my eye. Why would Pfizer have sold this technology if it was such a big deal?
Admitedly, painless laser dentistry SOUNDS wonderful, but reality says that it just ain't viable yet.

I've been looking at the laser-dentist group for a while (I'm a big baby when it comes to my teeth<g>) and it costs ALOT to get set-up.
The equip. is EXTREMELY expensive and in order to use it a dentist has to lay out big bucks for an extensive training period. Not to mention the extra insurance I'm sure they'll have to lay-out for, "just in case".

SOMEDAY, I'm sure it will be common-place, but I think it's way too early yet.
I asked an endodontist recently (root-canal, ARGHHHHHH) about this stuff and he said he wouldn't even be considering it for 4-5 more years.
Plus the proceedure is costly to the consumer and isn't covered by any dental insurance as yet. (at least the last I heard)

A good comparison is with companys like SPYN, who are making breakthroughs in the orthopedic field.
SOMEDAY they'll be able to replace the disks in my back with a prosthetic, BUT it ain't gonna happen anytime soon. (No insurance coverage-AGAIN)

Doctors and dentists are an extremely conservative bunch and aren't gonna incorporate this "new-fangled-stuff" until someone else does first.
They are innunadated with all kinds of new info every day and just don't have time to keep upw with it all.
IN FACT, I have tipped off my doctor to all kinds of new stuff that he'd never even heard of. It's not because he's stupid or a bad doctor, He just doesn't have enough hours in the day!

I'm having a hellofalotta fun watching the fracas on that thread though.<VBFEG>
