I dont know what the name of the handset will be....but it seems likely that it will be based on the E398. A Motorola exec referred to the iTunes handset as the E399 a couple of months ago.

The E398 has had fairly good reviews....but it is a year old handset. It would seem likely that they would upgrade the specs on the handset....hard to see Apple wanting their first iTunes handset to be given away free almost from the start.
