Eagle, I'm not sure if anyone helped you with the ICQ in the system tray..but I have found that if you take it out of your startup, the ICQ icon won't appear in your system tray until you log onto the ICQ server!

I'm using IE5, if you go to Start, Settings, Task Bar and Start Menu, you will then have a box titled, Taskbar Properties, click on the tab marked, Start Menus Program, under Customize Start click on Remove and it will give you a list of programs that startup when you start your computer, in the list click on ICQ to remove.

This won't remove it from your computer, just from appearing in the system tray every time you turn on your computer, you will still have ICQ in your programs list.

Hope this is what you were asking, if you are using another browser, then the procedure may be a little different, but will basically be the same, I would imagine.

The same goes for anything you want to add to the startup, just click Add instead of Remove.
