Carl: I posted a piece on CPQ's most recent response to their glutted channel problems on the MB thread. it provides some useful details. CPQ has aroused the ire of EVERYBODY they deal with as they now attempt to sell through the channel, through resellers and via direct sales. CPQ is one heck of a mess at the moment. Inventory has become a baaaad word. Their spin doctors are having a tough time with this problem. I smell ANOTHER big "one-time-only" restructuring charge coming our way as they "take control of" the inventory in the channel. (g) Best, Earlie
