I was a shareholder of ARP before the takeover and followed their developments on Veladero. It was a very exciting time. IMR is currently the only gold play I own. The area is pretty impressive with continued resource growth of both Pascua and Veladero as new deposits continue to be discovered on these properties. From what I hear a lot of exploratory drilling by both Homestake and Barrick has taking place adjacent to both the Rio de las Taguas and Potrerillos.

Barrick appears to have a very good understanding of the geology and for them to approve the strongly worded NR's from IMA regarding similarities to Veladero discovery is very telling. I spoke to Sean Hurd a couple weeks ago and they expect to complete the drilling by the first week of May. Assay results take about 3 weeks. Two zones are being drilled on Fabiana - 3 holes on the central zone and 5 holes on the north zone.

If they should happen to hit on Fabiana there will be instant recognition of elephant potential. If not the play will go into hibernation over the winter but expect to see exploration kick into high gear next season (October).

This stock definitely offers a big pay off. Hopefully Fabiana follows the same set of geological rules that Veladero follows.

John
